I’m your photographer and all around creative! The best part of my job is to get you to open up, relax and tell your story. Whether you’re a friend, a client, or a brand - I am here to find a way to inspire, educate and lift everyone around me. I specialize in portraits that empower. I’ve been described as bright & colorful with a twist of realness and luxury. Think Lisa Frank meets grownup meets real news work. I’ve shot it all, from butts to abutments and everything in between. I'm an Emmy Award winning Photojournalist, with multiple Public Relations Society of America Awards, Awards from the Kentucky News Photographers Association, and the Kentucky Press Association, and is a member of the Professional Photographers of America. I have a bachelor’s degree in photojournalism and over 10 years of experience working within the journalism, creative, and marketing industries. Most recently, I have spent the past six years growing and developing a creative team, where I worked closely within an internal team and developing our external clients. 

Since the start of my public relations career, I have fully devoted myself to learning more about communications while continuing to develop my creative talent, keeping my journalism base strong, while also growing my entrepreneurial spirit. I have spent the last three years to develop my leadership skills while keeping an eye on the necessary creative aspects of major projects. I have become a subject matter expert in my field and am confident in my ability to guide and motivate all team members to obtain the necessary information about our clients’ needs. I strive to help provide a favorable atmosphere that fosters meaningful collaboration within teams. I truly believe that high-quality and exciting end products can only be made when all employees understand their role and work together towards a common cause.


In addition to the technical skills that I possess, I’ve also been the go-to for communicating effectively with both clients and staff from a creative department perspective. I have an innate ability to quickly develop a rapport and get to the root of an issue; I tend to solve problems before they arise. People trust and count on me in this space for valuable feedback, guidance and suggestions. I also use this trust to drive team-building initiatives, whether it’s in an informal setting on the ‘fun committee’ where we fostered a culture of togetherness within the office space; during the COVID-19 pandemic where we came up with themed calls to keep the culture alive over Zoom meetings; or more recently hosting events in an effort to connect with new and existing staff to create and build a strong work culture.


I’ve also driven a push for Diversity Task Force initiatives, where we started to foster a place for equity and inclusion. During my time on that team I helped create our company’s DE&I Mission Statement, organized volunteer opportunities within the company, advocated for recognizing Juneteenth as an internal holiday and helped bring in outside contacts to present to the entire staff. 


I have five years of experience in managing others in my own entrepreneurial endeavors where I've been voted one of Louisville's Top Boudoir Photographers. I have a strong understanding of the digital world, growth of social engagement and the ever-changing needs for branding. I am a highly motivated individual who can handle many different tasks at once.
